Scenic drive to Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu, through lush valleys and rivers.

Excursion – Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass – Return (round trip 145 km)
Drive via Dochula Pass (3,100 m) and visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens.
Explore Punakha Dzong at the confluence of Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu.
Walk the Punakha Suspension Bridge and enjoy river valley views.
Return to Thimphu by evening; leisure time.

Thimphu – Paro (56 km | 1.5 hrs)
Short, scenic drive to Paro. Stop at Paro Airport Viewpoint.

Paro Signature Experience – Tiger’s Nest or Chele La
Option 1: Trek to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang) Monastery (round trip 4–6 hrs; pony available till café).
Option 2: Drive to Chele La Pass (3,988 m) for Himalayan vistas, including Mt. Jomolhari (weather permitting).
Return to Paro; evening for shopping or café hopping.
